1 Connect with Facebook
A Page admin logs in with Facebook and grants this app access to the Page and its Instagram account. Requested permissions: pages_show_listpages_manage_metadatapages_messaginginstagram_basicinstagram_manage_messages
2 Select the Page
Lists the Pages you manage (pages_show_list) and the Instagram professional account connected to each one (instagram_basic: ID and username only).
3 Receive new messages
Subscribes the selected Page to the messages webhook (pages_manage_metadata), so new Messenger and Instagram Direct messages reach our server. Fields already subscribed are kept; no other Page setting is changed.
4 Inbox: read and reply
Conversations customers started with the Page. Messenger uses pages_messaging; Instagram Direct uses instagram_manage_messages. Replies go only to customers who wrote first, inside the 24-hour messaging window.
